Set Up
Start with setting up the background first. What is the central visual point of the party? Place the arch and/or banner there. If you buy an arch, set it up there as well. Blow up your balloons and frame the background with them. Balloons should make the background look lush and full.
Minecraft Activities
There are a few activities to consider based on age and preference. All of the products for these activities are linked in the product section. 1) Minecraft Uno. The classic game of uno for older kids and an indoor party. 2) Minecraft Peg Boards. Download this free template by Rock Your Home School https://rockyourhomeschool.net/minecraft-perler-bead-patterns/. Use the pegs to fill in the figure on a peg board using tweezers. When done cover with parchment paper and an adult will iron the pegs until its melted together. 3) Capture the Sword. This is best for younger kids in an outdoor party. Children will take turns hiding the Minecraft Sword/Pick Axe and kids will search until they find it. The one who finds it will be the one to hide it for the group. Offer simple prizes for each finder.
Minecraft cake
The good news is that minecraft is so popular you have many options. For an affordable option, you can buy a cupcake stand and place store bought cupcakes on it. Most grocery stores with a bakery offer a minecraft sheetcake. If you want a fancier option, a baker can make a more elevated cake design using green and brown colors with figurines on top.
Minecraft Food Table
The good news is that the food table for this party is quiet easy. Minecraft is about things looking like they are in a pixelated video game. Chop up all food in squares-- pizza, watermelon, cake, etc.
